🏏 The Basics
Hand Cricket is a 2-player game where both players simultaneously show a number using their fingers. Numbers available: 012345678
🎯 How to Score
- One player bats, the other bowls — both pick a number at the same time
- If the numbers are different, the batter scores runs equal to their number
- If both pick 0 (special rule): the bowler's number is added to the batter's score instead
- If both pick the same number, the batter is OUT
💀 Wickets & Innings
- Each player/team has a set number of wickets (lives)
- When all wickets are gone, the batting innings ends
- Teams switch — the bowling team now bats, chasing the target
- Chase the target to win, fall short to lose, match it exactly to tie
🏆 Milestones
- Century (100 runs) in a single innings — celebrated in the feed
- Hat-trick — bowler takes 3 wickets in a row (same number 3 times in succession)
✅ Score Verify (Optional)
After each wicket, both batter and bowler independently enter the total runs scored that wicket. If correct: batter gets bonus runs, bowler causes a deduction. Designed to keep the count honest!
⚡ ELO Rating
Win or lose ELO based on your opponent's rating. Beat a stronger player → gain more. Lose to a weaker one → lose more. Starting ELO: 1000.

- Create a room, share the 4-letter code with friends
- Or join a public room from the Join tab
- Invite friends directly from your Friends list
- Team matches: set players per team, fill lobby before starting

Pick a number
Tap any button (0–8) on the game board. In online mode, both players tap simultaneously — your pick is hidden until both have chosen.

Numbers revealed
Once both pick, both numbers are revealed at the same time. If yours match — you're out (if batting) or you took a wicket (if bowling)!

Score runs
Batter picks 3, bowler picks 5 → batter scores 3. Batter picks 0, bowler picks 4 → batter scores 4 (the bowler's number). Keep going until all wickets are gone.

Chase the target
After the first team is all out, the second team bats. They need to beat the first team's score. The target is shown at the top during the 2nd innings.

Win!
Score more runs than your opponent to win. Your ELO goes up or down based on the result and your relative ratings. Aim for that Hat-trick! 🎩
